About zzapi's Pizza & Pasta

Established in 1982 by Jagdeep Singh, Zzapi’s Pizza & Pasta quickly became a beloved local favorite. With multiple locations and full-sized restaurants, Zzapi’s was known for serving delicious, family-style meals to generations of loyal customers.

The Zzapi’s family built their reputation on quality—using only the freshest, purest ingredients in every dish. Even after retiring in 2012, they continued to hear from longtime patrons, both near and far, who missed the unforgettable flavors and warm memories that came with every bite.

Inspired by this outpouring of love, their son Anveer Singh brought the Zzapi’s tradition back to life. On August 25, 2020, he and his family reopened Zzapi’s in the New York City Tourist Area, blending the nostalgic charm of the original with a fresh, welcoming atmosphere.

With checkered tablecloths, a cozy yellow interior, and fun, retro accents, Zzapi’s is a hit with both locals and tourists. It’s the perfect mix of classic comfort and vibrant city energy.

From ooey-gooey pizzas piled high with cheese and toppings, to hearty subs, calzones, and pasta plates, everything at Zzapi’s is made to satisfy and share.
